This tour was wonderful. Akhtar picked us up from our hotel right on time. There was another couple with my family and they were absolutely lovely. Akhtar took us to the Souq Waqif where we got to see a lot of different areas of the market, (we grabbed some food to go because we hadn’t really eaten much). The market was lively and bustling and it was nice to see people out and about. Next we passed by the Museum, the Katara Cultural Village, Cornishe, and The Pearl. Akhtar was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. Even though it was night time the city is so illuminated you feel like you can still see everything well. For the time we had for our layover it was a perfect way to see and experience some quick aspects of the city. I would highly recommend. I will also mention that my husband and I did this tour with our 2 kids (8 and 11) and it was absolutely perfect.
