This tour was wonderful. Akhtar picked us up from our hotel right on time. There was another couple with my family and they were absolutely lovely. Akhtar took us to the Souq Waqif where we got to see a lot of different areas of the market, (we grabbed some food to go because we hadn’t really eaten much). The market was lively and bustling and it was nice to see people out and about. Next we passed by the Museum, the Katara Cultural Village, Cornishe, and The Pearl. Akhtar was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. Even though it was night time the city is so illuminated you feel like you can still see everything well. For the time we had for our layover it was a perfect way to see and experience some quick aspects of the city. I would highly recommend. I will also mention that my husband and I did this tour with our 2 kids (8 and 11) and it was absolutely perfect.★

This was a great tour. Doha is beautiful but especially at night. We saw a lot of the highlights, enjoyed air conditioned streets and snacks. The later you go a few area stores will be closed, but lots of things are still open. Our guide Adil was awesome but didn’t help much with understanding the money or which shops to use. He showed us everything and is a smooth driver. I was in a group with nice ladies which made the tour even better. One important thing to know—you need a WhatsApp phone number to communicate with them for pick up coordination.★

I highly recommend everyone book a tour if you have a layover in Doha. This is what happened to me. I had an 8 hour layover and I did not want to spend such a long time at the airport. I am so grateful I found Doha transit and tours. From the beginning it was such a smooth process. Easy online booking process (I booked it short notice) I am so happy it worked out perfectly. I was able to get the confirmation within minutes. The day of the tour my tour guide, Sam, reached out to me directly and explained everything with so much clarity and ease. As a solo female traveler, feeling secure is a priority for me. Sam made the experience even better by being such a welcoming person. After pick up, he took us around the city and showed me all the key points. I was so impressed with his knowledge and hospitality. I even requested to stop by the mall and he made it happen for me. He took me to the souq and it was incredible. I got to pet a falcon, eat delicious knafeh, and shop for a magnet.
I didn’t know what to expect whenever I booked this tour and honestly I had no idea what Doha was like. I simply took the chance to get out of the airport and I am soooo happy I did.
Sam showed me the highlights of Doha and it really encouraged me to come back and visit for vacation. I cannot express enough how amazing the tour was!!! Book your experience today!!★

We enjoyed our Doha layover tour with Jassim very much; he was very pleasant and knowledgeable and the vehicle was comfortable. The tour only lasted about 3 hours since it started at midnight and thus most attractions were closed but this was expected. Actually the Souq Waqif had some coffee shops and souvenir shops open at 1 am and even made a friend there, a stray kitty joined us on the bench for a while. The city is modern and clean and the night view of the city lights from the Corniche across the bay was delightful. Thank you Jassim!
