A very pleasant and informative boat tour with a nice student from Delft (I think his name was Jasper), who shared many interesting things with humor, effortlessly in both Dutch and English, while maneuvering the boat through the Delft canals, under the low bridges, and around tricky turns. And that after a long winter break. We really enjoyed it!

The tour was great fun, with a good story and beautiful sights. In 1.5 hours, we got a good overview of the city of Delft and its history and culture. Furthermore, we had a fantastic guide; Astrid was spontaneous and motivated, with a touch of humor.

A huge thank you to our driver and guide, Surui, for her patient explanations throughout the day. The itinerary was incredibly chill, allowing us to enjoy the scenery of three cities, each with its own unique charm. The Hague, the administrative and cultural center, is definitely worth a visit—less crowded and brimming with cultural richness. Finding a cozy café in The Hague city center, enjoying the sunshine, and soaking up the Dutch atmosphere was a wonderful experience. Traveling by train alone could have been quite monotonous, and we might not have been able to appreciate as much of the local character. Surui also gave us ample free time. A fantastic itinerary!


