We had a wonderful time with Andy, and were absolutely full from all the different food we tried! Andy was very communicative to make sure we knew where to meet, and from the start tried to tailor the places we went based on our preferences (not just going to basic destined places.) At each location, we not only got an overview of the food itself, but also the historical context, and anecdotal stories from the time period. We especially loved learning about the evolution of the hutong and the last emperor and his mother’s history. I can’t stress how much I would recommend Andy and this tour for anyone who is interested in trying new food and learning about Beijing culture and history.
