Reviews: Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Bike, Markets & Churros
Guest User2024-08-25
Jesus was our bike tour guide as we explored the city of Coyoacán. He prioritized our safety and provided insightful commentary on the historical churches and parks we visited. The ride through the city was enjoyable and smooth. To make the experience even better, Jesus treated us to the best churros in town, and, as a bonus, he also took us to enjoy some of the finest tostadas, which wasn’t part of the original itinerary. Jesus ensured we bypassed the line at the Frida Kahlo Museum, which was a major perk. We truly appreciate his thoughtfulness and assistance. Thank you so much, Jesus!

Getting to the meeting place was luckily close to our hotel (Historico Central Hotel). Not a far walk for us. The tour guides were so helpful and easy to locate them too (they wore shirts with their logo). The group was split with English speakers and Spanish speakers. We did a lot of walking but when we went place to place we had the bus. The longest drive was probably 45 mins and it was a perfect nap time. Make sure to bring pesos with you since they rip you off with dollars. Frida Kahlo Museum was amazing and worth it to include it with your tour.

We were picked up by a large bus (for 50 people). First, we visited a silversmith. This wasn't mentioned in the itinerary. Apparently, Leonardo di Caprio had also stopped there, and the ladies were allowed to pose with a replica of the jewelry used in the filming of Romeo & Juliet. Afterward, we drove to the boats (a long journey due to traffic jams in and around CDMX), which I expected to be a lot, but it's a one-way trip, and meanwhile, vendor boats tie up, selling snacks, drinks, flower garlands, ponchos, and mariachis who perform for 300 MXN a piece. Maybe it's more fun with friends... Afterward, we drove to Coyacan, where you can walk around freely if you haven't booked the lunch option (which we did). We had a delicious pizza there. At 4:30 PM, we had an appointment at Casa Azul. It was lovely to see. Coyacan is a charming village. Oh yes, there was also a stop at the university buildings. Worth the effort, nice fr

The day was absolutely perfect. Gio our tour guide was exceptional and so was Fern. They were very knowledgeable and wonderful. Book this trip of you come. Fantastic price for what you get. It was a long day but so worth it. I would do it again.
