Josef lead us. Stopped for breakfast . Saw dolphins. Clean beach. Good snorkeling. They made it fun. Hike is not easy on a hot day. Bring $20-30 to enjoy optional items at the beach.★

This is a great choice for a Tour, a must-see attraction. Irazu volcan and the Cathedral are great. The views from the mountains are excellent. The tour departs early but it's because it's better to arrive in the morning to those areas. Highly recommended. ★

Michael gave an excellent tour of the cloud forest; he was patient and had a clear, passionate knowledge of nature and its conservation. It was a mid morning tour so there were birds to see and their nests. Explanations of the plants and trees were also given. Using his telescope, Michael also took photos and videos for us. It was lovely to see the hummingbirds at the cafe and also have time to explore the park ourselves later in the day. Seeing the quetzal bird was a highlight. Thank you, Michael.
