I only used this service for a one-way trip from Malpensa Airport to Milan Central Station. I considered the Malpensa Express, but chose this service to save money. I bought the ticket on the day of travel, and it was fine. I didn't know where the platform was, but a staff member kindly showed me the way. It seems to run once an hour, so if you get on early, you'll have to spend time on the train until departure. You have to pick up your own luggage. I was worried about my luggage being mixed up or stolen. If you're worried about that, I recommend sitting near the entrance/exit.

The boat tour with sparkling wine and snacks was simply fantastic! Our guide had incredible knowledge of the villas around the lake, the films filmed there, and the history of the region. You could really feel his enthusiasm for Lake Como and the surrounding area – it was absolutely contagious! He also gave us lots of great tips on what to do in the area and where to have fun. The combination of beautiful views, interesting stories, and the relaxed atmosphere on board was simply perfect.


