We bought only the regular tickets through Trip.com. Our tickets were issued and picture of our tickets sent to us through Trip.com messaging. We boarded the boat at around 7 pm for the 7:40 pm cruise. We wanted to make sure we are not going to be in the line for hours just to get on the boat. The lights in Coingqing city light up at 8 pm, and the 7:40 pm cruise basically gives us the best of daytime and nighttime views. We paid ¥80 per person for 3 of us to upgrade to the VIP section while on the boat. Because we got on the boat earlier, we were able to check that we will be getting good seats in the VIP section before paying the upgrade fee. Guests who prepay and got onto the boat later had to make do with tables and chairs that the staff set up and the VIP section got really crowded. Overall, we still had a very good experience because we got on early and we got good seats. One of the nicest river cruise with spectacular nighttime views of Chongqing.★

This tour was fantastic! It is Chinese spoken, but the guide and organisation went out of their way the accommodate me as a foreigner. All necessary information was provided through WeChat so it could be easily translated. Everything was clearly communicated and the guide was very attentive. The Tiansheng Three Bridges Bridge area is amazingly beautiful!★

Worth the experience. Have quite some climbing, not recommended for elderly. The trip was well organised. The guide will arrange transport to pick up everyone to a central location and change to an actual coach. Guide gave very clear instructions and good sharing of the cravings. Not recommended for those don't understand Chinese language. Although the scenic shuttle ride is not in the package, the ride is a must. Do cater this additional cost. Also while the lunch is self arrange, in view of time and limited dining locations, the guide will arrange for group dining at an additional cost. Make sure to visit the museum. ★
