I recommend this plan because it doesn't require registration upon arrival in Hong Kong. I never got approval on my other plan. It's a good thing my wife had this plan. The connection is 4G almost everywhere, with occasional 5G. But it's as stable as it can be for China.

I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.


