I don't know how crowded the one in downtown Chengdu is, but we had a pretty good experience here in terms of crowds; we entered the park around 8 pm. The company that provided our tickets was very helpful, as we mistakenly booked the 12 pm tickets and they were able to exchange them without any problem. Excellent communication with them.★

The time at the painting class was wonderful. We first received some jasmine tea and also organic mandarins. After some nice chatter and the lovely tea we went to paint with Mrs. Wang. First she showed us how to hold the brush and how to make the basic strokes. After that we worked on the painting. It is possible to choose from four different paintings. We went for the hydrangea. When we struggled, we got help from the teacher. The communication worked very well. Mrs Wang speaks English and there was additional support from Cheryl, who translated. The pictures will be a great memory of a lovely time. I can only recommend this course, it is a great introduction into traditional Chinese art.★
