The painting teacher and the school headmaster were both exceptionally kind and attentive—genuinely caring hosts who guided us with great patience. She also shared fascinating insights into local customs and everyday life in China. Amazing experience. Lance is a knowledgeable and informative host. The tour through the markets was a great experience and I learned a lot about the food and culture. Li was a great chef and teacher which resulted in many delicious dishes to be eaten. I left with happy memories, a full belly and a collection of recipes to try at home.
