1001% recommend this tour! Our guide Shine/Xiao was one of the best guides we'd ever met. She was funny, helpful, knowledgeable, and overall an absolute delight (and also good at taking photos)! It felt more like a friend bringing us around their hometown rather than a typical tour guide telling you things. We had the best day with her—I can't imagine looking at an irrigation system and thinking its interesting, but she made the whole thing fun and intriguing. Also huge thanks to our driver for making the entire journey so comfortable. The tour itself started early, which was a great way to have minimal crowds at most of the attractions (and a good decision). This tour gave us the best and most Dujiangyan has to offer and more!!★

The organization was impeccable, with a perfectly paced itinerary that comfortably covered all advertised sites at both Qingcheng Mountain (青城山) and the Dujiangyan (都江堰), beginning with a perfectly timely hotel pickup. The guide system was particularly effective; we had a dedicated English-speaking guide whose passion and deep knowledge brought the history of the region to life. She didn't just show us ancient sites - she connected the ingenious principles of the 2,000-year-old irrigation system directly to its vital role in Sichuan today, which was fascinating. A crucial piece of advice: ensure you have WeChat installed. Our guide used a chat to align the hotel pickup and share route details. An absolutely first-class, educational, and enjoyable day.About
