Aside from the guide's English explanations, the entire group of Chinese tourists spoke Chinese, as if they hadn't even left the country. The itinerary was quite boring, with only the Mekong River crossing and coconut palm grove walkthrough being acceptable. The rest of the itinerary included temples, crocodile fishing and python petting, watching coconut candy making, honey tasting, and fruit tasting and watching dance performances. The last three were promotional activities, and the taste was a bit average, but purchases were not mandatory. The overall experience was okay, and the guide was quite interesting. However, for the same price as Taobao, Ctrip didn't include lunch, which was quite sad.

A trip really comes down to the environment and the tour guide. Jimmy was an experienced and energetic guide and host which multiplied the entire experience make sure you give that guy a raise. The tunnels are a must and both an educational and exciting experience. I didn’t find the river as exciting however Jimmy and new friends made the experience worthwhile. Definitely go with this company and hope to get Jimmy!

Punctual pickup by clean transport, free bottle of water. Stop at the handicap factory, where you can appreciate the artisanal process. Arrival at Cuchi Tunnels, fast-track entry, a few minutes' wait, explanation of points of interest (traps, hiding places, etc.). 2 hours and 30 minutes of transfer from the restaurant to the Mekong River port (I didn't notice the delay; I overslept, understandable traffic). Speedboat transfer to the islands, first to the coco candy factory, where the manufacturing process is explained, and a free sample. Transfer to the artisanal honey factory, where you will receive a free sample, photo with a python and bees. Transfer by car to the shop for a demonstration of Vietnamese music, fruit tasting, and the option to tip. We walk to the stop where the boats for the Mekong River depart, as it was beginning to get dark. A tip for the boat is optional. From there, transfer to the port by speedboat, where you will find free coconut water. A 2-hour transfer to Betham Market is also agreed upon. We appreciated the interesting facts from tour guide Phuoc, his charisma and kindness.

The best and most fun guide. He took a million photos for us. A very comfortable minivan. We loved the little boats.
