Juan David is the best tour gide I ever had.. it was a full experience of the city, he added local drinks and snacks on the go, the stories were very interesting and funny too. I appreciated that he spoke clearly and I could actually understand what he was saying unlike many other tourgides.. so thank you! for this fun walk in your company, it was more than worth hurrying my breakfast for. Beyond amazing. First half was a walking tour with a bit of history about Colombia. It was very interactive with our tour guide Carlos doing something like “tell me what you see in this mural”. He taught us Colombian slang like “papaya” (not the fruit haha). We walked through famous places like the neighborhood Mira Flores and Loma de la Cruz. Then the second half was the food tour. Like so amazing. We tried many different fruits like lulo which Colombianos use to make juice as well. My favorite was ceviche de mango. Not even gonna explain, you’ll have to experience it for yourself. Then we ended with coffee. Carlos did an amazing job explaining everything and being funny and interactive. It is totally worth the price. Don’t second guess having this experience. You won’t want to miss it. As someone who traveled to Colombia for the first time, this was a great all in one bc it covered multiple tourist attractions and less tourist-popular places but more local-popular. Thanks Carlos!

Juan did an amazing job giving us both a history and food tour! We were a large group (10 of us) and he patiently waited 10-15 mins for us (the traffic is no joke). Our group thoroughly enjoyed the tour and we all learned more about Colombias history.

Honestly such an amazing tour! Carlos Mario was awesome and full of energy, and veeeery patient teaching me salsa (and translating to English too). With multiple stops we got to see the many sides of the salsa world in Cali - from the history in a museum, to a very special local record bar, and topping it off with the craziness of the Friday night street salsa party. It was so authentic and something not to be missed.


