Nice hike with a knowledgeable guide. Make sure you have proper shoes as there are a lot of steps down and it can get a bit flooded in the 800m long tunnel. (Also bring a torchlight or a phone as it’s totally dark in there)★

Our guide, Paulo, picked us up on time and brought us safely to the starting point of the hike. The tour was informative and engaging, with Paulo taking great care to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. The hike through the tunnel, along the streams to the springs and waterfall, was absolutely breathtaking and, despite the unfortunately hazy and rainy weather, incredibly beautiful. Highly recommended. However, sturdy, waterproof hiking boots and a flashlight are strongly advised. A reasonable level of fitness and sure-footedness are required. Those with a severe fear of heights should be aware that the often narrow path leads along sections of the slope secured only by ropes.
