A lovely tour despite the rainy weather. The bikes were excellent and the tour overall very informative with fantastic viewpoints along the north coast.

Very competent and friendly guides. Good food – a non-alcoholic sparkling drink would be a welcome addition (sparkling water or Coke, etc.).

Reviews: From Calheta: Whale and Dolphin Watching RIB Boat Tour
Guest User2026-10-31
An incredible experience! We followed spotted dolphins who played with the boat for quite a while. They swam just centimeters from the boat; we could almost touch them! We also saw pilot whales. The children loved it ❤️

Reviews: Madeira: Whale Watching Excursion in a Traditional Vessel

We saw lots of dolphins, a real ballet, but not a single whale in sight. Something to keep in mind. The guide and transport on the fishing boat were excellent.
