My guide was Otilia. Time planning was great, we had sufficient time at all destinations and attractions on the journey. Otilia was a knowledgeable and passionate guide who really shared a lot of stories about Romanian history which I found very interesting myself. However, we were unable to enter Peles Castle unless we paid extra, close to 30 euros, which is too much.★

A very well-organized excursion. We visited Bran Castle, Brasov, and Peles Castle, with several breaks: breakfast, lunch, and to explore beyond the scheduled visits. I recommend purchasing tickets, especially for Brasov and Peles Castle, directly on the bus with a guide who will take you on a sightseeing tour with explanations and lots of local information. Our driver, Florian, and our guide, Vlad, were very professional, knowledgeable about everything about Romania and Transylvania, helpful, and very friendly. It was a beautiful and very interesting day, definitely worth doing if you visit Bucharest.★

This tour is a must if you’re visiting Romania. Easy pick up and drop off. Yes it’s a long day but worth it. First stop was Peles Castle. Although it was closed we still got to see the beautiful castle and grounds. We then went to Brasov and had a wonder around before a fabulous meal. On our way to Bran Castle we went past Nevermore Academy where Wednesday was filmed. Bran Castle is small but set beautifully with great views.
Make sure you take some water and light refreshments with you.
We were lucky with the weather but there had been snow so parts were sloppy so make sure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
Our tour guide, Marius was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
