The tour was pleasant with two site visits and a lovely walk through the pictoresque town of Saint-Emilion. We sampled 11 wines, one a series from a particular winery (Vignobles Bardet) with different levels of complexity and prices and the other from a specialty store in town representing a wide variety of local wineries. I loved walking by the Bardet grape vines (dormant in this season) - from young to over 70 years of age! Our (2) tour guides were excellent, sensitive to our group and ready to provide stories and details about what we were seeing and where we were. Pick-up and drop-off in downtown Bordeaux was easy.

Our guide, Hugo , was fantastic. His knowledge was excellent and he spoke perfect English. He had all kinds of interesting facts about the region and wines in general. The small chateau we visited was wonderful and actually preferable to a much larger chateau


