Reviews: Segway Offroad Experience
Guest User2024-06-09
I booked this Segway experience for the family whilst on holiday in the area (2 adults 1 younger teen). None of us had any Segway experience & I was slightly nervous beforehand especially as I fell off during the 10 min instruction. After some trial & error it appears I was hanging onto the handles bars too tightly which caused the issue as they’re very sensitive. The owner of the company then led us on safari at my pace until I got used to the Segway which didn’t take long at all, we went through the nature reserve & up to the castle for a brief stop (amazing views) before continuing. In the nature reserve you drive across sand, & along some rocky paths which are all manageable (remember to bend your knees!). I’m so pleased I booked this experience & gave it a go, I’d happily book again on our return & be confident to use a Segway elsewhere now. The owner is such a friendly supportive chap, telling us all about the area & even recommended some nearby beaches to us. If you’re even thinking about this trip book it you won’t be disappointed. Parking in the area is a problem so leave ample time.

It was a very interesting meeting with a great player and his story. The trophies are beautifully displayed and presented. The museum fulfills its role of informing and showcasing the charm of tennis and the immense work of the players (videos). We really enjoyed the entire facility, with its well-designed sports areas for children and adults. There are a variety of opportunities for athletic and general development through other disciplines. The entire facility is very well-maintained, both the building and the surrounding greenery and playgrounds (sports and recreation). There are also refreshment options, which is important when staying on the premises for long periods of time. The multimedia playroom is a great idea for the younger generation, providing a chance to test their reflexes and concentration, which are essential in tennis. We enjoyed the entire trip, although the route to the facility was a bit less well-marked – there were no signposts. We both play tennis, so that was great. My husband is a tennis enthusiast, so it was a truly iconic meeting with the RAFA champion. Thank you for the tickets and information.

Reviews: Sunrise Boat Trip in Mallorca with Dolphin-Watching
Guest User2024-06-15
I have been dolphin-watching in other countries before and had high hopes for this excursion - they were exceeded! The meeting point was clear and the boat turned up bang on time, everyone got on board safely and quickly with a smiley welcome from staff. There were a lot of people on board but plenty of space to move around still, and when we eventually got to the dolphins everyone was able to view them easily. Once near the dolphins the boat slowed down and the engine silent, minimising disturbance to them. We watched from afar and at some points they chose to swim up to the boat! The trip lasted 3 hours in total, with approximately 40 minutes with the dolphins. Beautiful views of Port D’Alcúdia and Menorca. Very pleasant staff. Absolutely worth the money and worth getting up early, I would recommend this to anyone interested in seeing these creatures in their proper habitat.

Riding the Sagway over hill and dale was so much fun. Nico, the guide, was very nice and checked on everyone to make sure they were doing well, while also sharing and showing us a lot about the island. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience as a family.
