The biggest "God help" non-Eurail Pass for this European trip is nothing! Activate in China in advance, check the time, book a seat, and check the ticket directly in the App. It is really worry-free and efficient! From France to Italy, the small town stops and island hopping trips are super flexible, and I stop at any time, so that I am no longer bound by the rigid itinerary. The explanation in Japanese is not kind, probably because it is machine translation, but it was an Eurail German rail pass. Since I had purchased a continuous ticket, I thought I needed to activate it only at first, but be careful as I have to activate it with the app every day on the day of use.
