We had a great experience taking the half-day tour of the Forbidden City. The tour guide, Mr. Zhang Guoxing, gave a very serious explanation. Many historical stories were told in a vivid and interesting way. The entire tour time was just right. We will definitely take part in it again if we have the chance in the future.★

I encountered autumn in Beijing just before the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays. The weather was surprisingly good for September. Since I was traveling with my elderly family, I opted for a small-group guided tour. Just to give it a try, I signed up for the highly-rated "Beijing Champion" tour on Ctrip. The thoughtful service included ticket reservations, which was a safe bet even during the off-season. My family and I agreed that the guides at the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven were the best, both highly regarded. They were both "Beijing Champions"—Teacher Su at the Forbidden City and Teacher Liu at the Temple of Heaven. They provided well-organized explanations of the sites' background, functions, and uses, interspersed with bits of folklore. They were accessible, engaging, and engaging. It was a truly wonderful experience, highly praised.★
