It was the peak season so there’s just too many people but overall we enjoyed our first time visiting Badaling Great Wall. Be careful climbing the steep steps of the wall; without people around is already a challenge but with that much people; well agility is a must too. Anyways our guide is very helpful too and we enjoyed the overall experience. Half day is enough since basically you are just climbing the same thing unless you love the challenge of walking 2 to 3 km of walk.

This tour of the Great Wall and the Summer Palace was an incredible experience, and I have to give a huge thumbs up to our guide, Liu Depeng! The itinerary was perfectly planned. We first visited the Great Wall, allowing us to fully appreciate its majesty and steepness while still fresh, and then headed to the Summer Palace, where we could soothe our fatigue from climbing the Great Wall amidst the beauty of the classical gardens. Throughout the trip, Liu was incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable, offering insightful explanations of the Great Wall's history and architectural features, as well as the layout and stories behind the Summer Palace. His explanations were lively and engaging, making the trip incredibly fulfilling and rewarding.

Guide He was very friendly and always smiling, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. During our visit, he fluently explained the history and culture of the attractions and provided us with a wealth of practical travel information, helping us plan our itinerary and enjoy every moment. Furthermore, he was very attentive to our safety. Whether during transportation or during the tour, he repeatedly reminded us of safety precautions, ensuring a pleasant and safe trip. His professionalism and attentiveness made us feel completely at ease. His service significantly enhanced the quality of our trip, making it a truly wonderful experience. The Great Wall at Night is highly recommended. [The sentence about his thoughtfulness is unclear and likely a translation error.]

The itinerary is very satisfactory. It takes a lot of time to play Badaling, and you can easily climb the north and south slopes. The weather is cool, and there are not many people in Badaling. I am also very excited to climb the Great Wall. Yang Dao arranged extremely well along the way, and also told us a lot of the history of old Beijing. I especially like Yang Dao. There are Beijingers who are bold and atmospheric. I will go to Yang Dao's group next time.
