Definitely worth it, not too crowded even on a weekend and we really enjoyed it. We even climbed Simatai Great Wall. Our tour guide Cindy was very helpful and even texted me the exact locations of each town performance so we could get there on time. Great experience and highlight of my Beijing trip. We were 7 people, great for families.★

Highly recommend this half day guide. Our guide Lisa was very knowledgeable and very organised on the day. She showed us around the whole of forbidden city and told us so much about every part, something we wouldn't have got just visiting ourselves. She took time to check on everyone's welfare and had plenty of time for questions about the palace or just china in general. Overall certainly worth booking as it just wouldn't be possible to experience as much, or learn as much about the forbidden city.
