The show was much better than we initially expected and it was full of fun! But Li’s hospitality made this experience even better - she contacted us the day before to make sure everything runs smoothly, and we were given probably the best seat in the theatre(I am sure this is dependent on the manager of the show tho). She recommended a place to eat as well which was very kind. If you have time in Beijing I definitely recommend to visit and support this show!★

Our trip to the Forbidden City was made possible thanks to our guide, Li Xue, from Snail Culture and Travel! Not only did she meticulously explain the craftsmanship of the "golden brick" paving of the Hall of Supreme Harmony, the ritual functions of the Hall of Central Harmony, and the meticulous detailing of the three main halls, but she also vividly recounted the daily lives of the Ming and Qing emperors in the Palace of Heavenly Purity and the harem, even articulating the meaning of the arrangement of the animals on the eaves. This truly gave us a sense of the Forbidden City's history. Her tour was both professional and engaging. Her meticulous pace and well-planned breaks and photo opportunities ensured we not only fully understood the Forbidden City but also had a relaxing and enjoyable time!★

A stunning place with incredible views. I highly recommend taking the ferry to the island. It's very peaceful and beautiful. We bought tickets online, including access to additional locations, and we didn't regret it. We hired a guide on site; a pleasant young woman with excellent English gave us a fantastic tour for a reasonable price. She then gave us directions on where to go next and marked all the interesting spots on the map. My brother and I are very happy; it was probably the best thing we've seen in Beijing so far.
