What I enjoyed most about this trip was the Tianyu Resort Hotel where I stayed. It was fantastic! Not only is the hotel in a great location, but its private beach is also the best in Sanya, making it especially suitable for families with children. There's a kids' club and complimentary welcome gifts, and the buffet was incredibly abundant. The seafood and fruit were especially delicious; the mangoes here are golden and red, much better than those from inland areas. I highly recommend buying some to take home. My little one had a blast and cried, not wanting to leave. If you're traveling on a holiday like me, avoid the city center. It's too crowded, traffic is terrible, and transportation costs are high. Instead, take your kids to the Baihua Valley Commercial Street across from the hotel. There's a children's playground, and the commercial street has adorable electric animal cars to ride. My child had a great time there. Of course, restaurants and supermarkets are significantly more expensive than in the city center, but with a baby, staying nearby is less tiring and makes the trip more enjoyable. If I had to say what I didn't like, it would be the service from Ctrip's local branch. In one word: terrible. If I had to use two words, it would be: utterly awful! I've basically decided I'll never use Ctrip's service again.
