Reviews: Kuala Lumpur Suburbs Batu Caves Half-Day Tour - Morning or Afternoon Tour Option

Batu Cave is an interesting excursion. It's a tough climb, but the views are beautiful. There are two more caves below, both of which require a fee. I visited both, and they're not worth it. The main one is worth the effort. And it's free, only if you want to leave a donation. There's also a cafe down there with delicious roti. There are also a lot of monkeys there who are always trying to steal something from you, so be careful. Our guide, Lionel, was amazing; he talked a lot, rather than just leading us around in silence.

Mustafa was an excellent guide & very knowledgeable about the local area. He went out of the way to tailor the trip to our needs. Being in the water with the elephants was amazing. Highly recommend.

Good frip started at 9.30 . We were back at ship by 3pm. Felt time and the option to go up petronas towers could have been added as we had plenty of time.

Reviews: Genting Highlands & Batu Caves One Day Tour with Guide option and Cable Car Ride

This was a purely introductory tour; if you want to ride the rides, you'll definitely need more time. The park is located high up (level 5), so you'll need a lot of time for the cunifiler, and then you have to take the escalators down to the Chinese Temple (level 3). The outlet (level 2) isn't very large, but it will still take time. It was cloudy, so we couldn't admire the beauty of the mountains. Plan on more time for the temple if you want to go up there; there's no elevator. On the same level, you have to walk a bit, and there's a Buddha statue. I really enjoyed the trip. On the way, we stopped at the Batu Caves, where there's a Hindu temple. It was hot going up, but it's worth seeing once. The stairs smelled strongly (probably from monkey droppings), and I felt a bit nauseous, and the altitude made me dizzy. It's nice that the stairs aren't all uphill, with some rest areas. I didn't count the steps; the guide said there were 272. The toilet downstairs costs 0.50 rubles in cash. Those with cards were a bit taken aback. I personally paid for a tourist's toilet.
