Reviews: Avery Island Experience- Tabasco & Jungle Gardens Self-guided tour
Guest User2024-09-27
Our family drove 2.5 hours from New Orleans to experience the Tabasco Factory and Jungle Gardens at Avery Island, and it was worth every minute! As a Tabasco fan, it was fascinating to see the entire sauce-making process up close. After the tour, we drove through the beautiful Jungle Gardens, a peaceful retreat filled with lush landscapes and wildlife. Highly recommended for both Tabasco lovers and nature enthusiasts. A perfect day trip from New Orleans!

This is a beautiful place with extensive gorgeous grounds - incredible lunch in beautiful setting - and guided mansion tour with Ruby that was fun, educational and amazing! Ruby did a great job talking about the history, the features of the house and some really surprising facts and stories! All the while making us laugh and keeping us in suspense with the stories - don't miss this! Lunch was exquisite and don't miss the grounds including the pet cemetery, the dragon statue in the Asian garden and the 600 year old trees!
Reviews: Swamp Boat Ride and Oak Alley Plantation Tour from New Orleans

This was our first time visiting New Orleans so we wanted to do a tour that took you to a few places/activities. The plantation tour was very detailed and gave you alot of historical information. Our tour guide Presley was great! But the swamp boat tour with Cajun Pride was SO good! Our Captain Dustin was amazing! We saw so much wildlife from wild boars and raccoons, and so many alligators! It was a full day of activities, so be prepared to spend alot of your time on this tour. But it was well worth the money! I would definitely do it again!
Reviews: Oak Alley Plantation Tour with Transportation from New Orleans

I really enjoyed this tour. I did the combo with the swamp tour and it was a fantastic day! Lots of interesting history at oak alley. Walking through the oaks trees was my favorite part of the plantation. Now the swamp tour. Wow! Our guide T Tom. Was the best alligator man I have ever met! So knowledgeable and hilarious. At one point he went on the outside aspect of the boat and started feeding the gators chicken! We had 8 come up to the boat at the same time. It was so cool! I highly recommend
Reviews: Oak Alley Plantation and Large Airboat Swamp Tour from New Orleans
Guest User2025-10-13
Great day. Oak Alley was beautiful and our “big house” tour lady knew her stuff. The grounds and oak trees are incredible! We loved the swamp boat ride…saw alligators, a big owl and many birds. My husband said that this was the best thing he did in New Orleans! Our airboat driver was great and he got up real personal with one of the alligators. We also got to hold a baby alligator! Can’t beat that. We were on a larger airboat which provides seatbelts and earphone for noise. Light misting of water if you sit on the outside…which I recommend. We had to change buses to do both tours but pickup from hotel was flawless and got us where we needed to be.
