During our four days in Penang, we booked three different day trips. This particular trip was a relaxing and enjoyable one with Kent as our driver and guide. Kent was very considerate; even though we cancelled two of the activities at the last minute, Kent's planning and the order of the tours were satisfactory. In the evening, although the weather was cloudy and we didn't see the sunset, we enjoyed a fantastic fire show at the beach, and we had plenty of time to relax on the beach with the sea breeze. On the way back, Kent recommended a delicious Indian restaurant. Honestly, if I had just passed by that stall, I definitely wouldn't have dared to try it, but he took us there and recommended it, and our whole family thought it was fantastic!

A half-day immersive durian-eating and durian-tree-viewing experience was fantastic! Our driver, Krystal, recommended we start with the milder D15 as an "appetizer," followed by the rich, full-bodied, and sweet Black Thorn. After Huangjia Orchard, we moved on to Tujia Village for freshly caught red prawns. Since we went at the end of the season, what varieties we could get was entirely up to luck. After eating durian, we used the shells to hold water to drink, so we didn't have to worry about the heatiness. Then we used the shells to wash our hands, rubbing the soft white part inside the shell with our fingers to help the odor dissipate faster.

The butterfly garden and tropical fruit garden were quite pleasant to visit. It was a little disappointing that we didn't get to eat durian at Durian Hill because it was past season, but looking at the trees and feeling the breeze was still nice. The sunset and fireworks show in Batu Ferringhi were highlights, and the seaside atmosphere was very relaxing. Our guide, Ken, was very honest and helpful, making sure everything went smoothly and even offering to help us take photos. Overall, the trip wasn't rushed, making it suitable for those who want a relaxed itinerary.
