This is a must do in Bali! Waking up at 2am was hard but it was so worth it. The view was amazing! That sunset brought on some emotions, it was absolutely beautiful! The black lava rocks were also amazing to see! The guide that picked me up in the morning was one of the kindest people I’ve ever come across, I happen to mention I like coffee and he made a quick stop at a local coffee place for me to buy the best coffee on the way back. The jeep guide was also so knowledgeable about the area and made the trip extra fun with some good music. Both went above and beyond to ensure I enjoy the day.Overall, it was a really great, once in a lifetime experience! If you’re in Bali and you’re not doing this, you’re definitely missing out!

Our driver, Tomblos, was on time and so nice! He brought us to the hot spring after and was great to have on our trip. Anta led us up Mt. Batur and was so fun to have, he kept the conversation going, took pictures and made sure our whole group had a good time. Would absolutely recommend to anyone thinking of doing the hike! Bring a jacket for the top ❄️!


