The trip from Sanur to Nusa Lembongan/Ceningan takes around 30 minutes and overall it’s quite smooth. If you’re prone to seasickness, it’s better to close your eyes and rest — sitting in the front of the boat is usually more comfortable than the back. Make sure to wear water-friendly shoes, as you’ll definitely get wet. At Mushroom Bay there’s no jetty, so when you arrive you’ll have to step straight into the water near the beach — expect your pants to get wet too.

The second time I booked the return trip, I was familiar with the route. I walked on the water to get on the boat (slippers are recommended). I had to walk a distance to get to the Bali pier before I could take a GRAB. There were taxis contracted by other taxi companies inside, so GRAB couldn't enter. Fortunately, the weather was good, so the walk was not tiring.

I took a boat from Lembongan to Sanur Port at 12 o'clock. It was a boat operated by the resort. It was nice to be close to the accommodation I was staying at. There are not many people on the small boat, so I enjoyed the scenery and arrived well. The staff at the hotel kindly guided me, and I was able to wait in the lobby of the hotel, so I used the Internet.
