The air in Quyang is absolutely terrible, incredibly polluted, but the Beiyue Temple, shrouded in Taoist magic, is refreshingly clean! The main attraction is the Yuan Dynasty main hall and its east and west walls' murals, traditionally attributed to Wu Daozi, but this doesn't stand up to scrutiny; they're likely Yuan-Song Dynasty works, though still well worth seeing! The surrounding stele corridors also offer many surprises, worth examining closely. However, avoid the sections covered by glass; they're crude modern imitations, practically toxic to the eyes! Overall, a great experience!

The fireflies were absolutely beautiful, making the trip worthwhile. The meals were excellent, and the hotel's location was very convenient.

Fantastic experience! Julia, our guide, was superb and spoke perfectly accessible English. Our driver was also excellent. The scenery is magnificent, and the boat cruise is a must-do. One small negative point: the lunch was very light; we only had a small chicken wrap.

I had an absolutely perfect day on this tour and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The coach was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and our driver was friendly and professional, always smiling. The guide was outstanding—super knowledgeable (he’s a history teacher), funny, and engaging, which made the whole day even more enjoyable. The itinerary was well planned: we travelled through beautiful scenery, then took a comfortable boat ride to a breathtaking UNESCO fjord. After that, we continued by train with great service, watching the landscape change from lush green views up to snowy mountains—such a special experience. Even though the trip lasted about 10.5 hours, it was totally worth it. Highly recommended.
