It's very useful when traveling between the mainland and Hong Kong/Macau. I always use trip.com's eSIM when traveling, and depending on your destination, you may need to register as a user, but as long as you keep that in mind, the rest of the setup is smooth.★

I used this SIM in Italy! It takes about an hour for the usage status to be reflected, but it was very reassuring to be able to keep track of my usage. I had previously failed to connect to an eSIM and ended up with a high bill, but this SIM was easy to connect and very convenient.
