Ihlara Valley was a breathtaking experience— walking along the river, surrounded by the towering canyon walls and lush greenery, felt like stepping into another world. We booked with Skyway Balloons before our visit to Cappadocia, Turkey in May 2025. They picked us up very early in the morning to take us to their balloons and then take us on the ride of a lifetime. Once up in the air, it was wonderful. Glorious, even. Mouths agape as we tried to take it all in. The land below us was vast and full of charm, but all the balloons floating around us…oh boy, that made the whole thing truly magical. This was one of those travel moments where you witness something extraordinary. Makes your eyes widen and your heart soar. Every single person with Skyway Balloons was friendly and did a great job of delivering a safe and memorable experience. Once we were back on the ground, they gave us a flight certificate and we all toasted each other with champagne in the sunshine.

This is a must in Cappadocia! The driver and guide is very friendly and makes sure the team is safe and in order throughout the driving course. There are good pitstops for a bit of rest and refreshments. Safety is top priority. Beware of other offers as they maybe just those cheap ones that go around in one circuit. This tour is different- it goes around the plains among the fairy chimneys, valleys, downtown, main roads and local districts. Highly recommended!


