We had an amazing trip with an extremely knowledgeable crew. We saw a nursery pod of common dolphins and multiple shorebirds doing cooperative feeding. We also saw a brydes whale that was doing bubble net feeling. We were citizen scientists assisting with the boats research and learned so much about Aucklands ecosystem. There was extensive research material on board and a presentation. We whale watch all over the world and this was one of our favorite trips!! We highly recommend this tour!!★

The Chinese Hobbit explained that there were only 8:50 in the morning, so the driver came to pick us up at 5:55 in the morning. We set off very early. We took us to have breakfast on the road (McDonald's or others at our own expense). The service was very good. We met the beautiful scenery along the way. We would stop and let us take pictures. When we arrived at the attraction, we helped us pick up the tickets, and we patiently told us the precautions, a great experience!★

It was a full and enjoyable trip. Personally, it costs a lot more and time, but this tour was simply solved. I think people who speak English are very good. Especially the bus driver was very kind.★

Gorgeous countryside viewing on the 2hr trip to the caves. Our guide and driver Matty was informative & friendly. The caves, whilst fascinating, was let down a little as you are not allowed to take any photos inside. You have the obligatory photo before entering the cave and they superimpose you onto images that you can purchase at the end of the tour. The glow worms and the cave system was interesting but I was expecting a lot more to be honest. I would rate the caves 7 out of 10.
A one hour drive across to Hobbiton and wow! This is the most professional and well-run tourist attraction. It is such a magical part of the world and during lambing season. It was just so gorgeous. The actual movie set itself is otherworldly and surreal and you feel you are on a different planet. I would rate this tour a 10 out of 10. our guide, James was amazing . I cannot fault this tour at all. Long day but very well organised.
