This trip was incredible. You worry the long drive won’t be worth it but it is. This was the most amazing experience of my time in Egypt and easily the best site (and we saw most).
Make sure to do the 7am trip as by the time you arrive at Abu Simbel the thousands of people on coaches are just leaving. We got the place to ourselves, with just a handful of people arriving at the end.★

We had a great experience on the Abu Simbel tour and would highly recommend it to anyone who is seeking a Private tour + Guide to this amazing place. Samir who was our guide was extremely knowledgable to took the time to explain everything in great detail. As no tour guides were allowed inside the temples and it was extremely hot outside, Samir spent time on the drive there explaining everything, which allowed us to go straight to the sites and look at everything properly without having to stand outside in the sun. At no part of this tour did we ever feel rushed. Samir provided us with as much time as we wanted to explore the temples as much as we wanted.
