I booked this trip for my parents, and they were very satisfied. They said they'd book with this company again for any trips they haven't been to yet. I believe Ctrip can do even better in the future.
Reviews: Amsterdam, Netherlands: Zaanse Schans Windmill Village and Giethoorn day tour with free boat transfer

I thought the small tour group I was assigned this time was fantastic! The company was K7 Travel, and the tour guide's name was Surui. The guide was very patient and provided detailed explanations of each attraction, even sharing some Dutch lifestyle tips. I felt so lucky to have met this guide during my trip to Amsterdam; it was a wonderful experience and left me with many positive memories.
Reviews: Eurail Pass (European Rail Pass) [Includes SIM card voucher for multiple European countries/Refundable if not activated/Includes train services in 33 European countries/Discounts on Swiss attractions]

I purchased a Eurail pass because it is cheaper than buying individual tickets, especially when I have to take long-distance train journeys multiple times. Furthermore, with delays on European trains—particularly long-distance ones—being severe these days, even if you have reserved a seat, you may find yourself having to take different trains along the way. In such situations, the unrestricted Eurail pass has been a great help.

Because I was too lazy to do my research, this was my first time joining a group tour with my parents. Overall, my feeling is that you shouldn't have too many expectations for these short two-day group tours. Travel is about the mood, especially when going to Putuoshan; everyone goes with high hopes, so don't let overly high expectations spoil the trip. Price: I only found out after boarding the bus and talking with the other tour members that there were 39 of us in total, including adults and children, from various parts of Suzhou, including county-level cities, but not all of us booked through Ctrip. I think it's likely that travel agencies throughout Suzhou released the same itinerary, and then the group was formed based on the number of applicants. Comparing prices, booking through Ctrip was the cheapest, almost 100 yuan cheaper than other travel agencies. I think Ctrip has a significant advantage in this regard, which is what I'm most satisfied with. Itinerary: Many tour members complained that the itinerary was too impractical, and it's true to some extent. To embody the "luxury five-star, no shopping" concept, we stayed in a five-star hotel 50 kilometers from downtown Ningbo and a 70-minute boat ride from Putuoshan. The first day was essentially wasted. We arrived at Ashoka Temple around noon, and were given lunch before 11:00 AM. We only spent a little over an hour visiting the temple, so we didn't get back to the hotel until 1:30 PM, not the 5:00 PM mentioned in the itinerary. Therefore, we essentially spent the entire afternoon resting at the hotel, wasting half a day of the trip. So, if you want to spend more time on Putuoshan, I suggest choosing a different itinerary. This particular itinerary is suitable for travelers who want a more relaxed pace and comfortable accommodations. Accommodation: Five-star hotel
