Reviews: Monteverde Cloud Forest Tour

Michael gave an excellent tour of the cloud forest; he was patient and had a clear, passionate knowledge of nature and its conservation. It was a mid morning tour so there were birds to see and their nests. Explanations of the plants and trees were also given. Using his telescope, Michael also took photos and videos for us. It was lovely to see the hummingbirds at the cafe and also have time to explore the park ourselves later in the day. Seeing the quetzal bird was a highlight. Thank you, Michael.★

I booked with Ecoterra for both a Night tour with dinner and a La Fortuna combo 4 tour. Let me tell you the scoop if you did just these two things you’ll be set for your trip, of course there’s a ton of things to do in Costa Rica, but if you didn’t do these 2 tours you are missing out!! I love learning and I felt like a kid again Exploring the unknown the night tour was nothing g short or amazing! Plenty of wildlife to be seen I wish i remembered our tour guides name because, bravo 👏 super knowledgeable, and dinner was delicious it was the right way to start my vacation. Now the combo tour, we went to the hanging bridges, arenal falls, arenal volcano, and the Baldi hot springs. Was it a long day? Yes! Was it worth it? Most definitely!! Harvin was our guide and I’m soo glad he was, not sure if you can request, but if you could he will not disappoint, it was like he was a walking google for the rainforest. Lol every question he had an answer, as if he knew every little detail of the rainforest. Throughout the tour we saw sloths, 3 different types of snakes, all sorts of exotic insects, birds and lizards. Other than the amazing scenery, Harvin himself made the tour that much enjoyable, he was very personable, patient, knowledgeable and he just had a greatest attitude, he even got me to eat a termite! Smaller than a grain of rice but still haha great experience, a must try.★

La Paz Waterfall and wildlife adventure was the highlight of my trip to Costa Rica. What a beautiful property. Set in the jungle, LA Paz waterfalls are stunning in their beauty and grandor. And, the animals in sanctuary are excellently cared for. What a wonderful property. (Lots of stairs to see the waterfalls, but you can bypass them.)★

Reviews: Craft Specialty Coffee and Chocolate Tour at North Fields

Me and my two friends had a really interesting tour. The tour guide was super knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the chocolate and coffee process. Everything was explained thoroughly and we all came away having fully enjoyed ourselves. We got to try different kinds of coffee roast, as well as chocolate! We purchased coffee and chocolate from the gift shop and also a packet of the cacao tea that we tried that was delicious! P.s. the Costa Rican way of brewing coffee is threw a cotton bag... Not a dirty sock like someone thought!
