Hokkaido travel is necessary, only ticket exchange in Hokkaido. I changed at Hakodate Station. Like other PASSs, I went to the counter to change tickets and then rowed seats. The entire Hokkaido trip basically does not have to pay extra. Unfortunately, Hokkaido only has a special emergency line. It is very noisy and swaying. It is delayed at every turn.
