I drove from Madrid to Cordoba and visited the ancient city. Due to time constraints, I only visited the cathedral, the San Martin Bridge, and the observation deck. This ancient city is still worth a day to visit.

If you are into arts this museum is for you. Many are original Picasso paintings. Not a big museum but it will take time to go around especially when reading about every piece. Although there was a set time to enter and we were late by 10 minutes there is actually a queue so you are really not missing anything! The museum is very close to a cathedral and it is literally the centre of the city. Not to be missed

Hemingway said that Ronda is the best place to elope. It is a city in the sky, built on a cliff. There are scenery everywhere you look. It also has the oldest bullring in Spain.

Although not large, each courtyard is beautiful, making it a very worthwhile attraction in Cordoba, and incredibly photogenic. We lingered there until closing time, and only left reluctantly after the staff cleared the area.
