Where the jungle meets the ocean, this is a wonderfully picturesque beach. it’s very clean and doesn’t get too busy. there are a dozen or so bars / restaurants on the beach offering everything from things to smoke to local seafood and beers. There is normally a shore break, so if it’s not calm you should only attempt swimming it if you’re a decent swimmer or familiar with surf / rips. However on calm days it’s absolutely sublime. One of my favourite beaches in all of Sri Lanka and many decent accomodation options nearby.
