How could I come to the United States and not visit the Grand Canyon? So I booked a day tour. The tour was very well organized; everything from meeting point and directions to the final tipping session was clearly explained, so I wasn't worried about getting lost. Although it was an English-language tour with other global tourists, I was lucky enough to meet a Chinese driver, Mr. Song. He drove steadily and even gave me directions, explaining the highlights of the itinerary. There's also an optional extra for $20, which unlocks a guided tour of the scenic views and a full-time photo shoot – definitely worth signing up for; the photos were excellent.★

A few days before departure, the tour guide contacted me via WhatsApp, clearly stating the meeting time and location. The guide, Sarah, was excellent. The tour bus was large and comfortable. I purchased a lunch package at the restaurant; the food was plentiful but slightly unsuitable for young children (they could only eat fries). My itinerary included a 15-minute skywalk. The overall itinerary was very smooth. Highly recommended. Note that a tip is expected for the guide at the end (optional).
