Jennifer, a local Naxi, shared comprehensive insights into the local minority culture, Naxi life, their interactions with the Bi people, and the history of the Tea Horse Road, enriching our understanding of Shaxi's heritage. Upon our return to Lijiang, Jennifer arranged a tea ceremony and visits to a local Naxi restaurant and supermarket, allowing us to enjoy local tea and foods, offering a rare glimpse into Naxi culture. I was very satisfied with the trip, except for a slight discrepancy in the agreed-upon time with the driver. However, arriving early meant waiting until 2 PM to enter the park (some online sources said it opened at 12 PM, which is inaccurate). The driver provided a private car service, and luggage could be stored at the park entrance. After entering at 2 PM, I followed the park's activities, which were seamlessly integrated, and the live performances were truly impressive. I even had the opportunity to participate as a "firefighter" during the earthquake, which was very engaging. The final interactive Dai-style carnival was the highlight. The half-day trip was very fulfilling!

Great trip. Simple, picked us up from hotel, bus out to the TLG, with a couple of short and simple photo or generel interest stops, then into the gorge. An hour or so for us to explore. Bought our own tickets for the escalator back up. We used our wechat account to communicate with the tour people, made it very easy. We didn't opt for the lake option because it was near our hotel. Left hotel in the morning, back by around 2/3 pm.Thanks.


