John picked us up from our hotel on time. We really enjoyed him as a tour guide (and driver of the 4x4!) as he was super knowledgeable about our surroundings and very friendly. We stopped a few times for views and were able to take photos, toilet breaks etc. there wasn't any walking involved and the drive takes you to all the important and scenic stops. We would definitely recommend! Thanks again John!★

We were collected bright and early from our hotel by the extremely friendly comedy double act of the guide and driver. The drive seemed shorter than expected and featured a stop in a mountainside cafe/restaurant before onto the trek. Incredible scenery with perfect weather made it unforgettable. The highlight being the Stairway to Heaven - conquering my fear of heights, getting incredible photos and learning about the region were all standouts for my trip. Both my partner and I felt an incredible sense of achievement from the 7km trip. All ages and strengths were catered for in the journey so don't worry about holding back the pace of the group. Strongly recommended for anyone looking to get some once in a lifetime photos and pushing yourself for a moderately challenging hike. Loved it.★

We had a fantastic 4x4 tour with True Spirit, and our guide, Carl, was especially great. He was friendly and provided extensive explanations. He regularly asked if everything was alright. Everything was incredibly well organized. If I had known, I would have booked him for every excursion.

Myself, son and his best friend viewed Madeira by sidecar. We had the BEST time. The guys took us to a local cafe, showing us the most amazing views, taste the local snacks. Educating us about the Island, all the way. They were so kind and really lovely to hang out with, on this excursion, we didnt want it to end. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
