We were very pleasantly surprised by how many dolphins, seals, and penguins we saw. It was a fantastic experience.

Ben, our guide, explained everything in great detail, interestingly and informatively, and in a way that was easy to understand, even for those whose English wasn't perfect – we learned a tremendous amount. 10 out of 10 :)
Reviews: Melbourne Puffing Billy Steam Train + Phillip Island Penguin Island Day Trip
Guest User2026-02-27
This itinerary was really great for us traveling with kids. The penguin watching was in the evening, so we left the hotel around noon, which suited our child's schedule. Our first stop was the Puffing Billy Railway, a popular station with great photo opportunities. It was sunny at first, but halfway through the journey, a sudden downpour started. So we skipped the zoo and went straight to Phillip Island. We saw kangaroos along the way, and Cape Nobis was beautiful. Our guide, Xiao Li, was also fantastic. We did see the baby penguins in the evening, but my older son got impatient in the end. We took many close-up photos though. Highly recommended!
Reviews: [Mercedes-Benz Special Offer // Three-section cable car/Three Sisters Peaks] Sydney Blue Mountains National Park Day Trip
Guest User2026-01-13
This day trip to the Blue Mountains in Sydney was the most satisfying of all my day trips in Australia. The Mercedes minibus was new, with comfortable seats and ample legroom. Our driver/guide, Mr. Guo, was very responsible, explaining each part of the itinerary in detail and planning the time very well. It was a very hot day, and the bottled water on the bus was unlimited. Extremely satisfied!
Reviews: Melbourne Great Ocean Road + Twelve Apostles Day Tour -General Route or Reverse Route

Long journey, but the bus is comfortable with a lot of toilet break en-route. Prepare your own motion sickness pills if needed.
