We visited in November on a weekday. Lesser crowd and the weather was perfect, sunny between 10°C & 15°C. Our tour came with a guide who got us the tickets and planned the hiking routes, covering every "tourist-must-see" parts of the mountain.
The buffet lunch recommended by the guide at ¥98/pax up on the mountains is a really good deal too.
Huangshan is NO JOKE. The 8km up and down the steps lasted for almost 6 hours, excluding the one-way 20mins shuttle bus ride & one-way 10mins cable car ride. At the end of the tour our legs were not cooperative anymore.
Besides the breathtaking views, it was also heartbreaking to see elderly potters carrying approximately 180 catties (about 108kg!) of goods up and down the mountains. They are literally breaking their backs 😭! Some even stopped and asked passers-by for water / food. Would forming a bucket brigade or a human chain be workable?★

It was a super awesome sea experience. We went to Phi Phi Island, Koh Phi Phi Island, Maya Bay and Honeymoon Island for snorkeling. The itinerary was tight but not tiring at all. Koh Phi Phi Island is the favorite of the little ones. You can buy bread in advance to feed the fish. We went to Phi Phi Island for a quick meal and then headed to Maya Bay. The scenery in Maya Bay was incredible. The water was clear and there were many fish. You can borrow a long-tail boat to take pictures. We snorkeled at Phi Phi Island, surrounded by small fish. On the last leg of our trip to Honeymoon Island, we encountered a group of dolphins. We had free time to snorkel and kayak at Honeymoon Island, and we could also play on the yacht's built-in slide. It was super fun. We saw the sunset on the sea on the way back. We were very satisfied with the overall itinerary. The yacht we originally booked was the Castle, but it was temporarily upgraded to a larger new catamaran, the Sapphire Catamaran. The tour guide was very funny, and the Thai dive guide also helped me take underwater blockbusters. The customer service representative, Bedi, was also super patient. Thank you!About
