The tour was fantastic! If you like walking in stunningly beautiful nature, far from crowds, this for you. Our guide Andy was outstanding, very friendly, caring and knowledgeable. I have learned many interesting things about the region and its nature. We spotted kangaroos, emus and even a wombat. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves nature.

Reviews: [Limited-Time Special Offer in April] Melbourne Puffing Billy Steam Train + Phillip Island Penguin Island Day Trip

The miniature train was the most memorable part of my trip to Australia!!
The itinerary included ample time for meals, making it relatively relaxed. Just be sure to dress warmly and protect yourself from the wind, as it can be windy on the train and the penguins get cold late at night.
I recommend bringing binoculars for penguin watching, haha, since cell phones aren't allowed. Also, head to the boardwalk early to see the penguins returning to their nests; you'll get a clearer view than from the beach.

There were around 20 people on the tour, including Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Westerners, and other Asians. There were many rest stops along the way, and if you got hungry, there were places to buy snacks or KFC, so we had plenty of fun on the bus. ☺︎ Of course, the tourist spots were also very beautiful, so I didn't feel pressed for time.
