Venice: St. Mark's Basilica Skip-the-Line Ticket & Audio App
Highlights
• A strict dress code is enforced: shoulders & knees must be covered to enter St. Mark's Basilica
• The Basilica is an active place of worship & may close without prior notice due to liturgical ceremonies or special events
• Skip-the-line access does not exempt you from the mandatory security check. Wait times may be longer during peak periods
• The audio guide app requires a charged smartphone, at least 300 MB of free space, headphones, & internet access
• Entry to the Basilica complex is regulated by a personal, non-refundable, and non-transferable ticket, issued in your name. Depending on your booking, this ticket may cost
o €12 for Basilica access
o €24 if it includes the Museum or the Pala d'Oro
o €36 for full access (including terrace and Loggia dei Cavalli)
• The remaining fee covers organization, mandatory audio equipment, & the presence of a certified guide or host
• As per new rules in effect from July 1st, 2025 all participants must enter together with their guide or host.
