5 hours, 4 wineries, and a pace that actually lets you enjoy it. This is our biggest seller — and once you're on it, you'll see why. You'll visit 4 wineries across the island, with proper sit-down tastings at three of them. Your guide's a local kiwi. They live here. They know the winemakers, they know which table to grab, and they know the little stories behind the island and the people who live here.
The lunch stop is Batch Winery — the highest point on the island — with the most stunning views and wines, of course. Sit down with something delicious, a glass of whatever caught your eye earlier, and just take in the views stretching out over the water.
From there it's on to Stonyridge for another tasting, then the grand finale — Mudbrick Vineyard. The most iconic vineyard on Waiheke. A final glass with the Hauraki Gulf sparkling below you.
After that, it's back to the ferry — or we'll drop you somewhere on the island to keep enjoying your day.
The best day out on Waiheke Island.
⭐️ Itinerary:
Matiatia Ferry Terminal — Meet Your Guide. We'll pick you up right at the ferry terminal. Your local guide's waiting for you with a welcome board with your name on it — and from the moment you step on, the island, the stories start flowing. Sit back, soak up the scenery, and let someone who actually lives here show you around.
First Vineyard — Your first stop is the beautiful Cable Bay vineyard tucked into the hillside. A proper sit-down tasting to ease you into the day — with stunning views over the Hauraki Gulf.
Batch Winery — Lunch Stop Next up is Batch Winery, sitting at the highest point on the island. This is your lunch stop — grab something delicious from the menu (at your own cost), pour yourself a glass of whatever's been calling your name, and just take in the panoramic views stretching out over the water. It's the kind of spot where nobody's in a hurry to leave.
Stonyridge Vineyard — home to some seriously world-class reds. Another proper tasting in a gorgeous setting under the olive trees or the cellar door. This is usually the one where people start whispering about shipping a case home.
Mudbrick Vineyard — The Grand Finale The last stop is the big one. Mudbrick is the vineyard on Waiheke — and your final tasting comes with the Hauraki Gulf sparkling below you and Auckland sitting across the water. One of those moments where you just stop and breathe it all in.
Flexible Finish We'll take you back to the ferry at 340pm — or if you're not ready for the day to end (and most people aren't), Plenty of our guests grab a table at Mudbrick for dinner and watch the sunset over the Gulf. Others wander into Oneroa for cocktails. It's your day — we just make it easy to keep going.
