The day was a big one, nearly 12 hours, but as it ran, it all went well with Siena, lunch, San Gimignano, and then finishing in Pisa worked well given the shorter daylight hours in winter. Luca gave great information on the bus about upcoming history to towns. A great day overall.

We found the tour of the San Morettini family's oil mill very interesting. The processes and individual machines were explained to us in a clear and understandable way. There were also stations where we could get involved ourselves, such as identifying smells or playing a digital quiz. The final oil tasting was also exciting. The tour was entertaining and highly recommended.


