The experience is 100% recommended for those seeking a bit of adrenaline and wanting to get off the beaten path to climb Sugarloaf Mountain. It's much more enjoyable without crowds, taking in views unlike those from the cable car, observing wildlife, and hearing interesting stories and details shared by the guide (in our case, Sergio) along the way. No prior climbing experience is necessary, although any prior experience (even a little) will be very helpful.★

Everything about the experience was perfect. Even with imperfect and very windy conditions, all of our needs were cared for. The captain is very skilled and handled the boat with ease. The first mates Jessica and Gabriel were always asking if we needed anything. They helped provide food, drink, towels and blankets. And Daniel, the captain, shared with us plenty of history of Rio and showed us all around the bay. I would highly recommend this experience.
